I picked a Passat rental over a Malibu. Can’t seem to get comfortable. But 445 miles till empty at 3/4 full, I’ve never seen such numbers.

Can’t get comfortable?
In a Passat?
Seriously. My dad’s B5.5 is the most uncomfortable car I’ve sat in in my life

Can’t get comfortable? How big are you?

“Get comfortable.” Makes me think of Lazy Boy recliners, the most gawdawful uncomfortable, miserable piece of furniture ever made, but people love them.
I like firm, rigid, supportive car seats, and that is what I would expect to find in a Passat.
But I would also be tempted to see how a new Malibu drives for, to the eternal chagrin of some, I have always been hooked on GM sedans.
Here endeth the dribble. Thanks for reading.

Now I am curious, is it a diesel? If it is those numbers are quite normal for highway driving.

woah you’re talking to a lzb shareholder.
The Passat seats just need more thigh support. The steering wheel is also too high for my liking.

Not very big. Longish legs though.

LZB. My brother-in-law is my best friend in the world. He bought a brand new set of LZBs for his living room and I didn’t want to visit any more.
I have always been a VW fan. In my experience, VWs are funny in that some people feel like they just do not fit in them.

That’s too bad. I don’t own any of their products, but they’ve made me a ton of money.

How so?

I bought them at like $9 and they’re pushing $30/share.

I bought $800 worth of Tesla the day after they went public and that investment is now worth over $5,000. I wish I’d had the money to invest more. Some day, maybe I can trade the stock in for a car. At the very least, maybe I can show them my portfolio and they’ll let me test drive one, because I damn sure can’t afford to buy one.

Interesting, that gauge cluster looks just like the one in my Jetta. I did not realize the Passat had that huge of a gas tank as that is the range I get out of my TDI.
